Rockband / Guitar hero / DJ Hero Thread
Even though the popularity of these games is in decline, I thought I had better make a thread to cover the new editions/versions coming out before christmas.
Interested in how well this will work : http://www.rockband.com/zine/rb3-features-pro-guitar

Woops. I forgot that this thread was here.
What is with GH:Metallica having so many long songs...I swear I was playing Enter Sandman for 20 mins.
I am plowing through the Career mode on Medium (n00b I know) but its great fun none-the-less

I dont know how many of ye out there are into your music games but with the demise of GH, I wondered has this genre seen its day. However i was on the rockband forums the other day and read a topic on a new game coming out next month called rocksmith.
According to the site you can plug almost any guitar or bass into your xbox/ps3 and just strum, using their specialised 1/4" phono to USB lead. You can even use an acoustic guitar with a pick-up.
Might get a bit loud in your living room without a string dampener.lol
Heres a linky
