Signed myself and my 2 bros up to the preview program this morning - we all got accepted.

VP - Your mates xbox probably didn't detect the av cable the first time it was switched on, giving it flashing red lights.

SH - Is your xbox still under the 3 year warranty - If it is or close to the end of it, send it back saying it 3 ringed and they will send you back a new/refurbished one for free(Doesn't matter if it works when they get it, as that happens sometimes) . If not, trade it fast, before it completely goes.

Ya. I liked the old display where eveything was scrolling towards you. And the friends list section is horrible. Everything is so small.

It looks like we could be getting indie games since there is a slot for them in the marketplace.

Party Chat was very laggy when I was talking to shocker.

It doesn't seem that they improved the voice chat at all. Shocker voice was very echo and he said mine was too.

Hopefully they will improve it when the real thing comes out.

Now that I had time to look around the dashboard.

Pros
- Faster
- The Search Feature
- Able to see how much MSP you have without having to select something to buy.

Cons
- Some Avatar Items are not compatible with the new avatar design
- have to through twice as many menus just to look at dlc for a game.
- The Search feature is more annoying then helpful.
- Friends menu is worse.
- Menu locations on the guide button have been changed around. E.G. The Quick launch option is now in the achievements section.
- Miss the old sound effect when the xbox was loading up.
- The Game Add-ons setion in the all download menu is pointless since you can't search for DLC by game title.
- MSN Contacts not appearing in friends list

I want the old Dashboard back.

If all these are fixed (except for the opening) when they release it to everyone I'll be happy.

Dooley the gameplay does get repetitive but the humour is about as good as No More Heroes 2.

Also it's only a 5 hour game.

Well you could say the same about Splosion Man and The Maw in both length and gameplay and they were both very good

Plus if I get it and Super Meat Boy next week I'll get the 800 point refund so both games will technically only cost 800 each

The Splosion Man level is good. it is what you would expect from the Level 3 stage.

Should really try and start the multi-player.

Gave my opinion on MOH here.It's good but I'd recommend a rental first

FO:NV is getting good reviews so it's probably worth a shot if you liked FO3

Not a fan of FIFA so can't help you there

Fable 3 is out next week if you've any interest in that

Well if the online is going to be exactly the same as Fable 2 then it is horrible.

The online is totally re-vamped, you can enter into someone elses world as your own unique character and bring your dog woth you.

On a different note, look like microsoft re-vamped xbox.com and fucked it up big time - silverlight my arse.

Yeah I'm getting Fable 3.Got the Collector's edition pre-ordered so roll on friday.As TheLaw said the co-op is completely revamped so I might even use it this time(only ever played a bit of local co-op in F2).

The first DLC pack for Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light is out today and it's free for the first 30 days.The patch which enables online co-op is also out today.

When i first heard of Project Natal i said iwould never get it and that it would be a load of shit but i usually buy crap anyway just to say i have it so i will definetly get it not on release day but this Friday when i go home from college.

Anybody got any good recommendations on which Kinect games to get im definetly getting Kinect joy ride as it just looks like a fun game. Do u get a game bundled with Kinect or is it extra to get the game with it.

Not gonna bother with Kinect at least until there's some decent games released for it.The launch line-up doesn't interest me at all.Plus there's the space issue.You need 6 ft of clear space between you and the camera for it to work and about 8-10 ft if there's more than one person.Wouldn't be able to manage that without completly clearing the room where my 360 is

As far as I know Kinect Adventures comes bundled with it.I don't know if I'd bother with Joyride though.It's getting pretty poor reviews
