Chelsea are looking good though,twelve goals in two games? Newcastle beating Villa 6-0,what?! It's been a decent start to the Prem!

Utd have got a spicy group in the CL draw.Valencia and Rangers will give them tough games

Group G looks savage though..AC Milan,Real Madrid,Ajax and Auxerre

Spurs also have a tough group with Inter Milan,Werder Bremen and FC Twente

None of the other groups stand out really

Rangers are shite,their in the scot league and valencia sold 2 of there best players. Spurs indeed have a tough group by werder bremen will be weaker without ozil. And Madrid as usually will probably get knocked out in the 2nd stages but with Mouriho as their manager they could surprise us yet. If he manages to get them far were all fucked

Yes they are shite but they'll be tough to beat at home and English v Scottish games always have an extra edge to them and Spanish teams will always be tough to beat.I think Utd will qualify top of the group but I don't think they'll have it all their own way either

Odd that the qualifying games are on Fri and Tues now.Can't recall international footy ever being on a Fri before.

Still great chance for Ireland to get the campaign off to a great start.A win against Armenia today would set us up nicely for the game against Andorra on Tues which should be a win(although it's Ireland so nothing is certain)

Well what a game that was. Torres,being utter shit for most of the afternoon (and guilty as charged for Berba's first) wins a penalty and free kick to get us back into it. I was glad we didn't roll over and lose 4-0,although United thoroughly deserved their three points. Well done!
