Don't like dark themes

Design one, for the same reason as above. Dark themes more often than not obscure text or use horrid colours to display text.

Also the wiffy logo does not work with a dark coloured background.

The design of the main page looks good, but the threads are ghastly.
Also is there a way to make the Wiffy-esque main page full of the latest threads?

/Edit: Actually I think my page just didn't load properly, the threads don't look that bad, but they could do with a bit of improvement. If you just make all posts the same scheme as the light blue.

Ok, the colours are grand now for the threads, but you can't see what you're typing in the reply boxes. That was hard.

Cool, it's a pity we can't have the white font, it looked nice, but I suppose it can't be helped.

Added the portal. Basically what the front page of what wiffy was. It has a limit of 50 topics on that page, which should be enough and I have stuck the poll on the left, but if you create one, you will have to PM me to change it. It won't change automatically when you create the new thread!

I added a books/music/movies section. I don't know if you want me to create a separate section for everything off-topic!

Do you want 1 section for gaming and another section for off-topic discussions??

It's good the way it is. I suppose the gaming section could be divided into 3 categories for the PS,Xbox and Nintendo though, but I'm sure it'll work the way it is.

This is design 1 but with the background colour changed. I could make it more lighter.

i couldnt come across it in preferences. well if nothing else can you change the colour of the lighter blue , this one it clashes with the duller background blue and the darker one of the even posts

You see guys. The thing is

Wiffy.ie = VBulletin
Wiffy.forumotion = phpbb3

We could downgrade to phpbb2 in order to edit the code...or we could switch to punbb which I haven't used alot.

I have sent a question over to support about the portal because there is not a option for changing the new unread posts to bold.

I am going to be busy over the next few days so, I won't be able to spend much time (Maybe in the evenings or whenever I get the chance to get on)

@Phlegms - Turn them of by going to Profile>Board Preferences>Click "No" for "Always notify me of replies"> Save, then go to Profile>Topics being watched> Mark all> Stop Watching Topics!
