Wiffy Veteran Badges?

What exactly is the point of these, since only about a quarter of people from Wiffy actually have them?

i think they were thrown onto members who have been there from the active days of the forum near the get go

But you weren't active in nearly a year.

Also Lupe have over 2500 post and I wouldn't call him active.

I was on it a lot, I just didn't post much :O Most of the threads seemed to be "What's your favorite jumper?" or something similer Being a cardigan man, I just didn't know what I could contribute

ALSO I'd like to mention that I spent an entire summer in chat when I first joined

I don't know what sites you were looking at that had those kind of threads.
