Super Mario All Stars Coming To Wii
According to a report from a Japanese retail event, Nintendo is planning on bringing Super Mario All-Stars to the Nintendo Wii.
On sale October 21 for ¥2,500 (US$30), the compilation will mark the 25th anniversary of Super Mario Bros. The game first went on sale in Japan in September 1985. It went on sale the following month in North America.
The original Super Mario All-Stars — which consists of Super Nintendo remakes of Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. 2, Super Mario Bros. 3 and Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels — was released back in 1993.
The Wii reissue will feature special packaging. Included will be a booklet called "Super Mario History 1985-2010" as well as a CD of Mario music ranging from the original game to Super Mario Galaxy 2.
No word on an international release.

I too have it for SNES, but my SNES is in bits and the controllers have no start buttons.

There was another version released with it Crow.
As for the start buttons, some horrible little rotbag ate them out of the controller! Then my ten year old self, surgically removed the select buttons and inserted them in the start slots when needed. Of course they eventually got lost.

It did crow. I would take a picture of it but my Snes collection is in the attic and I'm too lazy to find it.

Re: Super Mario All Stars Coming To Wii
€30 seems a bit steep for 4 NES games with SNES graphics

If they released them individual on the VC I'd buy them at 800 points each. As for the €30, they're 2500yen, which is closer to €22. :p

Actually you're right. They would cost more to buy individually.I was thinking of NES prices on VC for some reason

i stand corrected according to names. my mistake
for me it looked like this on the menu. the mario world games were not present in any version i played
a version with a mario world game is much better. ive honestly never heard of that before

names is right, I had a version with SMW on it aswell. Instead of Mario in a top hat being on the sticker, it was a boring sticker that said "Super Mario All-Stars" with "Super Mario World" written underneath it. Probably put more hours into that cartridge than any other game, good times

The same as mine. I never completed the lost worlds though.

If it helps Crow the one with Mario World was a console bundle thing (I think), we were just too epic and old school!
