Let's have a thread about pets, why not

Have a dog. Had a bird, that my brother/s girlfriend accidently let fly out the door. And am now looking for a rottweiler.

What have all you guys got? what do you want?

Friend of mine recently got a Spider monkey.

Didnt think u could have monkeys as pets!! Did ur friend have to get a special permit for the monkey.

I have a small dog on his last legs,he's about seventeen. Old school!

Have 2 dogs and 2 turtles. Wouldn't mind a friendly crocidile though

I'm not actually sure if you need any sort of licence. I very much doubt this guy does though. He just bought it in a normal petshop.

Have an old fat dog who's great. His behaviours changed the last few months though

My mam just got a kitten, I claim it as my own.

So jealous, would love a new kitten. All I have at the moment is my dog, it's strange because usually I'd have a farm's worth of pets.

Kittens are great but they turn shit.

Dogs are always deadly.

Well I have 2 cat and 3 kittens. Had 4 kittens but one got killed on the road.

i didn't know they had monkeys in pet shops.
i would like to have a pet capybara.

You may as well just get a guinea pig, they're the same basic animal.

I have no pets. I want a yorkshire terrier.

I have a dog, he's called Buster. He's a 10 year old beagle/something else cross. His likes include long walks on the beach and Baker's complete dog food. His main dislike is the pigeon that keeps taking his food...

but a capybara is massive.

I have a rabbit (Caboose) , a tortoiseshell cat (Gizmo) , a russian dwarf hamster (Tex) and a 12 year old pembrooke welsh corgi (Lady)

how much was the rottweiler? did u get it in tallaght?

300 unregistered. I'm gonna get the papers in a few months though. The breeder gave me back 100 and told me to get his vaccinations and some specific brand of puppy food with it. Got him in Cavan though, I'll giv you the guys number if you want. The parents have great temperments so it should be a good pick.

Just as I was writing this he took the funniest dive off the sofa - it's a fair drop for him.

What type dogs are those Pad and Quad?

According to the Vet (he is a stray) he is a Wheaten Terrier but they were not 100% sure. I have done a blog post about him which you can check out here
