New Xbox 360 Controller D-Pad

Post by SilentHunter on Tue Aug 31, 2010 4:44 pm

We’ve just made the Xbox 360 Wireless controller even better with a brand new version that includes a transforming D-pad. The engineers have come up with an ingenious solution with a d-pad that can go from a plus to a disc with the twist of the wrist.

Here is a video that shows how it work:

In addition to the new d-pad, the matte silver controller also features concave analog sticks and gray A,B,X,Y buttons for added style.

The controller will only be available with the new Play & Charge Kit that will launch on November 9th for US $64.99.

About fucking Time. Its not they way I wanted but it will please both that hate it and like it.

Also I hate the colours of the buttons.

you just know though when you're panicing in some game and frantically trying to do something quickly you'll accidentally activate the d-pad and arse up what you're doing

hang on. what is the point in being able to change back to the old disc shape. when the disk is still a dpad.. it doesnt add anything. what a waste. oh i dunno

Good point. Still I'm the same as dooley I really don't need one any time soon. All I use the D-Pad for is for switching weapons.
