Just thought I would re-create this thread as it was a popular one.

Anyhoo, its probably been posted before but I just read the confirmed pricing for Kinect. €149 Stand alone with kinect adventures or €299 for kinect, kinect adventures with a 4gig new xbox 360.

I will propably pick this up at launch but will decide for certain closer to the time - Reach and fable 3 will be out between now and then anyway.

It says on xbox.com there will be 15 release titles, Found this list on another site:

I have only seen footage/previews from some of the above, but its a pity there are not several different release game bundles to allow people to choose which game to get with the hardware.

Anyone else considering getting this?

I kinda want to see if it works/really is as good as the preview people say

Nah doubt I'll be getting it tbh.Nothing I've seen of it has convinced me that it's going to be any better than the Wii.And that list of launch games is brutal

I don't want to spend €150 on it.

2009 conference made me want to get one but at E3 this year I don't want it anymore.

I'll have to have a look at all this Kinect malarky - haven't seen any videos about it, but at that price there'd have to be some pretty awesome games coming out for it to make me want it.

Just played the demo for mafia 2. It's great. I had pretty much zero interest in this game before I played the demo.

I'll have no xbox for a year so I'll be back in time for price cuts and a good load of reviews and stuff for Kinect.

Same here.The demo has definitely piqued my interest.The only thing I didn't like though was when you enter a building the camera zooms right up behind your shoulder.It's a bit awkward

I'm not sure about trading in Lego HP and Red Dead for Mafia 2 :/

Guardian of Light would almost be worth a full price for the co-operative campaign alone. At 1200 Microsoft points - around £10, €15 or $15 - it's an instant buy. There are few download games that offer this kind of value for money, and few that are as clever or effortlessly exciting. Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light might be a move away from the Tomb Raider name, but it's a tremendous homage to its spirit.

Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, henceforth referred to as LCATGOL, has had a bumpy road to release. The lack of online co-op for the 360 version until September 28th, nullifying the "timed exclusivity" of the release was a major blow for Crystal Dynamics. There is a good chance that this free DLC pack will be one of the three that focuses on combat, exploration and puzzles. Two more DLC packs are also planned which will allow you to play LCATGOL as classic Crystal Dynamic characters.

I have no interest in the game ATM but I going to see if I can download the free DLC.

I'm looking forward to it. Watched a quick look on giantbomb and it looked like good fun in local coop. Don't really care about the online.

Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light is great fun .Much heavier emphasis on combat makes it feel suitably different from the other TR games.Kinda feels a bit like Smash TV with puzzles thrown in at times.

One of the achievements seems to have glitched on me though

Is it related to red orbes? If it is that's to do with playing the trial first. I just bought the game without playing the trial so it didn't happen to me.

Yeah it's the one for collecting all 10 red skulls in a single level.I've collected them all in the first 3 levels and never got the cheev.I didn't play the trial either.Like you I just bought the full game straightaway

Going to rent a game later...any suggestions?

I starting to get really pissed off because everytime I play a game I get an update for it even I stop playing it for a hour.

The updates seem to keep resetting every time I turn off the xbox.

Just had some excellent games of Blazblue with SilentHunter, that game rules. If you don't own it, you're missing something precious in your life. Probably a working sexual organ.

There's also the likes of CoD:Black Ops,Medal of Honour,Crysis 2,Dead Rising 2 and Assassin's Creed:Brotherhood on the way if any of them tickle your fancy Hex.

Fable 3 is pretty much the only 360 release I'm looking forward to in the next few months though.Much more excited about the Wii line up between now and xmas tbh

Yep, my entire console set-up is going to a friend's for a year. I doubt I'd have any use for an Xbox in Japan to be honest though.

pre-ordered fable iii and black ops. asked gamestop were they doing offers for
preordering halo reach and they said were done with mafia 2 stuff now so they'll
be focusing on halo reach now.

I say my next game will be New Vegas. Can't really afford any new games ATM.

I might get mafia 2, or I might just watch it on youtube. The story seems good.

I'm only posting the reviews for everyone else, not myself. They mean pretty much nothing to me. I prefer to just watch gameplay to make my choice about buying a game.

I only watch reviews of games that I want and I only watch them if I missed anything about the game.

Well the no free roam thing has put me off all together since it has a big map and all. Think i'll keep my 2 trade ins for F1 or something.

Trying to get the AMAZING looking Naruto ninja storm 2 demo out today but Microsoft site is being shit.

Just played Scott Pilgrim: The Game for the first time and....it's shit! As in, boring and not fun! It's not that I don't get it, it's just that it's crap, I'd play Streets of Rage, Golden Axe, Gunstar Heroes or Revenge of Shinobi anyday before this! gutted
